I have had some requests from other bloggers who want to know if I accept guest posts on Brian Anderson Marketing, and if that is the case, what are the guidelines. I figured that it would be easier to write the guidelines in a post and just refer everyone here.

So the answer to the first question is: Yes, I do accept guest posts. Below is the answer to the second question.

What kind of content do you accept?

Anything that is useful for my readers is good content for a guest post here. It can be related to blogging, Internet marketing in general, and it can also be derived from your own personal experiences. There is no minimum length for your post, but guest posts should have around 500 words or so.

It is also a good idea to search my archives before submitting a guest post. If I have covered that topic in the past already there are good chances I’ll reject your post (unless you offer new insights).

Guidelines

Your post must be original and must have never been published before on the Internet. You agree to not publish the post anywhere else (i.e., in your own blog or as a guest post in other blogs). I am not a fan of duplicate content.

You can include one link in the byline, which will be displayed at the bottom of the post You can’t use SEOd anchor text for your byline link.

How do I submit my guest post?

One Time Submission

If you have a post that meets the guidelines above, you can send it to me via email to askbrian.anderson@gmail.com. I would prefer it if you include the post in the body of the email itself, but an attachment is fine. I will reply with 24 to 48 hours letting you know the status of your post.

NOTE: If you don’t get a reply after requesting or sending a guest post, send it again and leave a comment below. I haven’t missed any yet, but sometimes things happen.

Guest Author Status

If you would like to submit articles on a regular basis (once a week, twice a month, etc),  you may request an ‘author’ profile to be set up for you. This saves me time as I get more quest requests and I encourage this option. Just shoot me an email with a username you wish to use and I’ll set it up within a day, usually.

Terms and Conditions for Author Profiles

I do check for new posts every day and read them for approval. I have the right to delete any posts I find inappropriate and your user profile as a result. You will be promptly notified if this happens.
