A great list and good copy are 2 elements of the triumvirate (3 essentials) of e-mail promoting. The 3rd part is a well thought out delivery technique. These are some tips which will raise your sales:

1. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Research has demonstrated that you will get a higher reply to your e-mail promotional efforts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. When you consider this, it is sensible. On Mondays, folk are attempting to get back on course from the weekend, and on Fridays, folk are endeavoring to wrap things up before they take off for the weekend.

2. Mornings are best. Send your selling mails in the morning, so that folk have some time to read them during their breaks or lunch hour.

3. Short and sweet. Nowadays, folks have info overload. Keep your e-mail short and to the point, and include well-marked, working hyperlinks.

4. Do delivery tests. E-mails display differently in different e-mail programs. Send out test mails to a Yahoo! Account, a gmail account, and an AOL account to be sure that it’s looking good and that it’s deliverable.

5. Watch your frequency. You have got to strike the balance between keeping your business in front of prospective clients, and turning them off because they start thinking about your e-mail as spam. Try a monthly newsletter, or an once per month newsletter bolstered with a special offer two weeks later on.
